LG Display show world thinnest LCD TV LED panel
LG Display are announing the the world's thinnest 42- and 47-inch LCD TV panels.
The LCD panel is only 5.9 mm thick thanks to the LED backlight technology.
The displays have a color saturation level of 80 percent (NTSC). Other features include LG Display's 120Hz technology with a motion picture response time (MPRT) of 8ms, which provides full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution and eliminates motion blur.
This is really thin and can be compete to the OLED Tv technology.
