AUO believes 3D-Display TV sales to reach 4-5 million units in 2010

AUO Optronics is very optimistic about the 3D Display Tv sales in 2010. AUO believes to reach 4-5 million units according to company executive VP of global business unit Paul Peng.
Peng said 2010 will be a good year for the LCD market, with the worldwide LCD TV shipment forecast adjusted to 181 million units from the previous estimate of 146 million units. LCD monitor and notebook shipments will also reach 179 million and 215 million units respectively, up from previously forecast figures of 168 million and 171 million, he said.
